and Sterre.
The two friends behind Ambucha.
We met at university in Amsterdam. Avangeline grew up in San Diego, Sterre in Maastricht, so comparing the two has been a running feature of the friendship ever since. Cities, food, how people spend a Friday. Usually over a drink somewhere.
It came up on holiday, sitting on a beach, talking about what we like to drink. Avangeline said the thing she missed most from home was hard kombucha. Sterre had never had one, but knew it would be perfect in Amsterdam.
So we made it.
Ambucha is a 4.5% hard kombucha that moves with the day, from bright afternoons on a terrace to late nights out. Naturally fermented. Real fruit. Three flavours: Golden Mango, Fresh Berry, Pineapple Glow. Women-owned, founded by the two of us.
We're starting between Amsterdam and Utrecht, in the bars we already spend our time in. This city has always been quick with a new thing, and this one only takes one round to make sense.
